Lock snapping is the number one attack method on uPVC and composite doors in the UK — and a standard euro cylinder gives way in seconds. A 3-star cylinder is engineered to survive it.
Anti-snap
Sacrificial sections snap where they’re designed to, keeping your door locked under attack.
Anti-pick & anti-bump
Pin and driver configurations resist the most common manipulation techniques.
Anti-drill & anti-pull
Hardened cores and reinforced fittings stand up to forceful entry attempts.
No extra handles needed
A 3-star rating on its own means no need for expensive security handles.
Independently tested
British Kitemark, Sold Secure Diamond and police-preferred Secured by Design approval.
Fitted by a locksmith
Professionally installed and tested, so your manufacturer guarantee stays valid.

3-star lock questions
What is a TS007 3-star cylinder?
TS007 is the British standard for door cylinders. A 3-star cylinder passes the toughest tests – including snap attacks – on its own, without needing a 2-star security handle alongside it.
Will a 3-star lock fit my door?
Yes – we fit Yale Platinum and Ultion cylinders to uPVC, composite, timber and aluminium doors. We measure your existing cylinder during the visit to guarantee a correct fit.
Do I still need a security handle?
No. Both locks achieve the full 3-star rating by themselves, so there’s no need to buy an expensive TS007 2-star handle to make up the rating.
How quickly can you come out?
We’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a typical response time of 15–30 minutes across Birmingham and surrounding areas – and there’s no call-out fee.
How much does it cost?
We work on fixed prices with no hidden extras. Call us on 07570 327586 for a free, no-obligation quote – our price includes supply and fitting.
Do the cash guarantees apply automatically?
No – both manufacturers require you to register your lock for the guarantee to be valid (Yale within 7 days of purchase). We’ll give you everything you need to register correctly.
Do you cover my area?
We cover Birmingham and the surrounding towns – including Edgbaston, Harborne, Selly Oak, Kings Heath, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Tamworth. Call 07570 327586 to check your postcode.
